STRESSED OUT?

COMMON SYMPTOMS OF STRESS:

  1. Exhaustion or trouble sleeping.

  2. Headaches, dizziness or shaking.

  3. High blood pressure.

  4. Muscle tension or jaw clenching.

BE AWARE of any changes in behavior. If you find yourself stressed out frequently, take breaks and come back to it.

Having scheduled breaks is always a great tool to use at home and at work because you can create as many breaks as needed and still get the work needed done!

Ultimately, maintaining a good balance is what’s needed to have a peace of mind. Remember that avoiding the work will only create even more headaches, but if they are tackled at a good pace, it will minimize the stress load.

Not only is counseling a good way to find that balance, it can also help you understand where else the stress could be coming from and how to cope with it.
