WHAT IS AN EATING DISORDER? Eating disorders are a range of psychological conditions that cause unhealthy eating habits to develop. They might start with an obsession with food, body weight, or body shape.

*Although, ALL Eating disorders should be handled asap, severe cases can have long term consequences.

INDICATORS OF EATING DISORDERS:

1. Skipping meals or making excuses for not eating

2. Adopting an overly restrictive vegetarian diet

3. Excessive focus on healthy eating

4. Making own meals rather than eating what the family eats

5. Withdrawing from normal social activities

6. Persistent worry or complaining about being fat and talk of losing weight FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO EATIING DISORDERS:
