WHAT IS A BIPOLAR DISORDER?

Bipolar disorder is a very serious mental illness that causes changes in one’s mood an or energy. A person’s mood can go from being low, to being high. Normally the behavior is unexpected and affects the ability to think clearly.

Although, this disorder has no specific time frame, it is most seen amongst children and or adolescents. Those at high risks consists of: * People dealing with a death * Those who have high stress levels frequently * Those who are dealing with drug or alcohol abuse

Unfortunately if someone is dealing with Bipolar disorder, he or she may experience a sense of worthlessness, frequent suicide thoughts, decreased appetite, problems concentrating and many other problems. Regardless of which symptom he or she is experiencing, it should be dealt with as soon as possible to prevent it from getting worse.
