Sam is Founder and the Executive Business Director at Star Point Counseling Center. He will answer any questions you may have regarding counseling services, your insurance benefits, and the sliding scale. Sam will help you set up your appointment in an easy, hassle-free manner. Sam also is captain of an adult hockey team.

Peter D. Schleh, Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Peter is a psychotherapist specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy. Among his areas of expertise are relationships, parenting, stress management, depression counseling, anxiety counseling, anger management, crisis prevention, trauma, schizophrenia,  and conflict resolution. Peter is also a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Interns. Peter received his B.A in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University. Peter received his M.S in Psychology from Illinois State University.

JEFFREY DOUGHMAN, Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern.

 Jeffrey has M.S. Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Jeffrey also has a B.S. in Psychology from University of South Florida.

Jeffrey has extensive experience with couples counseling, marriage counseling,, teens, children and individuals. She has helped people with depression, trauma, low self esteem, anxiety, stress, abuse victims, diverse cultures and substance abuse.

JEANETTE TODARO, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. 

Jeanette received her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Argosy University. Jeanette received her B.A. in Psychology & Elementary Education from Hofstra University. Jeanette has extensive experience with children, family systems counseling with family counseling. Jeanette has experience with children, teens, marriage counseling, anxiety counseling, depression, stress, substance abuse and domestic abuse counseling. Jeanette also has experience with bi polar disorder.


Rosemarie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy.

With over 35 years experience as a clinician,  Rosemarie specializes in relationships, parenting, stress management, anger management, trauma, depression, anxiety and conflict resolution.

Rosemarie is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. Rosemarie incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

Education: University of Wisconsin with a B.S. degree in Psychology. She also has a M.A. in Psychology from Chapman University, a Masters in Education from Boston University and a Doctorate of Psychology from Colorado School of Professional Psychology.

License, Certifications & Awards: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Psyd., 

Professional Activities and Memberships: Certified Gottman Couples Counseling 1 & 11.

Larissa Kisner, L.C.S.W.

Larissa has over 15 years experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and works with children counseling, family counseling, couples counseling, marriage counseling and individuals that suffer from depression, anger management, stress, anger management and anxiety. 

Steve Foster, L.M.H.C.

Steve has been a Mental Health Counselor at Star Point Counseling Center since June 2014. Steve became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2016.

Steve received his M.S. in Mental Health from Troy University. Steve also has a M.A. in Business Administration from Touro University International and a M.S. in International Relations from Troy University. Steve completed his post Masters Degree 2 year Registered Internship under the supervision of Clarissa Crystal-Belle, LMHC at Star Point Counseling Center. Steve is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher. He has a broad range of experience in helping individuals, family counseling, and couples counseling with anxiety, stress, improving communication skills, with separation and divorce, family dynamics, marriage counseling, depression, as well as other challenges.

Carly Reinoehl, L.M.H.C.

Carly received her B.A. in Psychology/Sociology from Northwest Missouri State University in 2009. Carly received her M.A in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in 2013. She also studied Abroad at Maastricht University-Psychology Department-Maastricht, Netherlands in 2007.

Carly has extensive experience with children and family systems counseling with family services counseling. Carly has experience with crisis counseling, marriage counseling, anxiety counseling, depression, stress and anger management counseling. Carly has been with Star Point Counseling Center since July 2018.

Stephanie Kelly, L.M.H.C.

Stephanie received her M. A. in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. Stephanie received her B.A. in Psychology/ Liberal Arts from University of Central Florida. Stephanie has experience with couples counseling, marriage counseling, stress, depression, anxiety, children, teens, family dynamics and child abuse. Stephanie completed her 2 year Registered Intern under the supervision of Clarissa Crystal-Belle, L.M.H.C. and is now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Stephanie has been at Star Point Counseling Center since February 2017.

Abby Mills, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Abby recently graduated with an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling. Abby has worked for several social services agencies in Virginia and Florida, and has been with Star Point Counseling since August of 2012. She has experience in trauma, physical and sexual abuse, substance dependence and abuse, depression, anxiety, anger management, marriage and relationship counseling, and family counseling.

Mark Lavette, L.M.H.C.

Mark has over 25 years experience as a Licensed Counselor and works with children, families, couples and individuals, depression, anger management, stress, and anxiety.

All of the Registered Intern's can help people with stress, depression, anxiety, marriage counseling, relationship counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, family dynamics, children counseling, parenting skills, grief and loss and pre marital counseling.
