I was upset most of the time so I came here. They helped me understand where my anger was coming from and how to cope with it. 

After being married for 29 years, my husband and I hit a rough patch. We went to Star Point for help. We are so thankful we chose Star Point. The therapist listened to us, they gave us tools to help us, and the tools have been put in place and are doing their job! We are taking the time to hear each other and communicate effectively. When my daughter's school called to tell me she was being placed under arrest for smoking pot in school, I felt my world collapse at my feet. She had always been an honor roll student until middle school and then everything went downhill. You are the first counselor that could connect with her. My husband and I wanted to thank you for helping us at such a tumultuous time. Losing the baby so soon after his deployment was very difficult for both of us, as you know, and I needed the support you were able to give me. It is amazing to me that you were able to get him to participate in therapy when he got back. We are both so grateful to you for all that you did to help us stay together. 

I want to thank you for all that you did for me and my girls. After being awarded the custody of my three teenage daughters, I thought, "Hey, piece of cake!" You know the rest. LOL Anyway, I can actually come home after work and know that their chores and homework are done and that they are following the rules of my house. I don't know how you did it but I am so glad you found a way to get us to communicate so that we no longer screamed and could actually sit down and talk to each other about what we each needed to do to make our house a place we wanted to be at.
